Megalos Prinos, which is also named Big Kazaviti, is only half a kilometer away from Micros Prinos. The village was also called Tsigura in the past. The village had a very good school system in his heydays, which was also appreciated from the villages in the environment. The villages lay in a mountain valley, which is surrounded by umbrella pines and spruces at the feet of the Ipsarion. The sight down to the sea with all his bays is very beautiful. The place of the village was so hidden that the pirates never discovered the village and so the people were safe. Today only the old houses reminds of the heydays from Megalos Prinos. Except some inhabitants the most of them went to Prinos. In the center of the city there is a small tavern, which is very good for a rest.
