Skala Kallirachis

Skala Kallirachis is the harbor for Kallirachis. Skala means gate, the way to the village. This means it is counting as a gate for Kallirachis. The villages were build in forests or mountains to protect them against the pirates. Believing the legend some villages were bounded with secret tunnels to the harbors. Klisma is the suburb from Kallirachis. In Klisma live mostly fishers and locals. It is not a village of his own, because Klisma has only some houses. It is very small. Skala Kallarachis has a beautiful harbor which was built up in the last years. Some motorboats and fisher boats makes a stop here. Here you also have a wonderful view to the sea. In the harbor of Skala Kallirachis there are some nice places, which seem to invite you to take a seat and enjoy the view of the sea.
