The monastry was built directly on the rocks south-east on the island. Here You have a beautyfull
view of the sea.The monastry is a branch of the monastry Philotheou of Athos.
This monastry Archangelou was build to honour the archangel Michael.
Every third day of easter
they are celebrate a festival for his honour. Every visitor is welcome to celebrate with them
and they are giving everyone good wishes when they are leaving.
It is not allowed to wear shorts
or skirts which are ending above the knees. It is also not allowed to entry the monatrie with
naked shoulders. If you are wearing the wrong clothes for this visit, so it is possible to lent
trousers and small capes for free.
