The naval port was also called the closed port. Today it is rather known as the old port and is used by the fisherman and excursion boats as a jetty. The closed port whose ground was busy with plates was protected by two round towers on the southwest-page and a wall.

A paved way led directly to the Agora (= market). That one was safeguarded by three gates. Further the naval port was combined with the commercial port by a gate. It only was allowed to foreigners with smaller ships to go before levers in this port.
