Astris is a small
village with a beautiful beach at the south coast from Thassos. The small houses reminds
of small gingerbread houses. In the norm there are two rooms inside of a house. And every
house has a small garden. They are build out of stone and they have a slate roof. Small
ways of sand takes you to a main street to Astris.

The huts were
build by the inhabitants of Theologes. The people who lived there long long ago were
preoccupied with thecultivation of olive trees. Today you can rent a small house and live
in your vacation like the greek.

Astris is a
wonderfull village. The small "gingerbread houses" give the village such a
pictureeque flair.The village itself is split in two parts. The part below with the main
street and the part above with the small old houses.If you arrive from Potos, it is very
easy to miss the entry to the upper part of the village. Then you have to go across the
country.
