Thassos Island - Villages/Skala Prinos-01.jpeg At the north west of Thassos there lays Skala Prinos, which is the harbour of Prinos, Micros Prinos and Megalos Prinos. Skala Prinoa is after Limenas the most important harbour of Thassos. Here you can take the boat to the main land, to the village Kavalla. In Skala Prinos they are transporting marble for the whole world.
Skala Prinos with the smell of fish and wet wood is the typicall harbour. In the background you can hear the screams of the seagulls. Here you will find buses to reach the other different villages on the isle. Here you will find the busline to Rachoni and one busline to Limenas, too. An other one goes to the south of Thassos.
